Settlement Services
The YMCA of Windsor and Essex County provides settlement services for New Canadians. Settlement Services facilitated the access to various community agencies, government departments, and the private sector.
Settlement Counsellors provide assistance with:
- Preparation of necessary documents, including translating in over 20 different languages.
- Information and referral for training and education, immigration, legal, housing, and health issues.
- Supportive counseling, advocacy and group support.

Interpretation and Certified Translations
In addition to settlement counseling and life skills counseling our settlement services team provides support to the interpretation and translating of documents. We provide this service in the following languages:
