Fitness Orientations

Fitness Orientations are designed to introduce new members to our facility. Book a 45 minute orientation with one of our certified fitness trainers. You will be educated on the basic Wellness Centre etiquette and guidelines. You will be taught how to operate our cardio and strength training equipment safely and with confidence.

Personal Training

Utilize the services of our certified trainers. Working with a trainer is one of the fastest and most successful ways to improve your health and fitness. The YMCA offers hourly one on one sessions where our trainers will customize a work program tailored to help you achieve your personal fitness goals. Let us create a program specific to your physical needs including:

    • Circuit Training
    • Functional Strength Training
    • Balance and Core Training
    • Flexibility Training
    • Sport–specific Training

Teens on Weights

Are you between the ages of 13 and 15 and want o access our Wellness Centre?

Teens on Weights is a unique program that incorporates in class education and hands on learning with a certified trainer to learn about fitness, health, basic training principles, and program design. This course is ten weeks long and provides youth with the fundamental basics that are required to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Practical and final exams conclude this course and successful members who pass the exam earn the privilege of full access to our Wellness Centre.

Heart Care Windsor

Heartcare Windsor provides R. N. monitored exercise for people with heart disease or anyone who wishes to have their exercise medically monitored.
