A YMCA of Windsor and Essex County membership is as convenient as it is good for you. And, as a YMCA member, you will enjoy benefits and perks that a drop-in fee won’t get you.

Membership Fees

New Member Building Fee

The Building Fund Fee is your contribution toward the building and maintenance of high-quality YMCA facilities through capital improvements, renovations, and refurbishments. The Building Fund Fee is required from all new or lapsed (over 6 months) adult (18 years+) YMCA members, to be given at the time of membership registration or renewal.

Payment Options

YMCA memberships can be paid in full (annual) or on each continuous monthly basis, by signing up on our perpetual, pre-authorized payment plan. Each month, the membership fee is automatically debited from your bank account. A “VOID” cheque, and an initial one month payment is required at the time of membership registration.

Day Passes

Most YMCA programs and facilities are now available to non-members on a daily basis by purchasing a day pass. Some exceptions do apply. If you plan to visit the YMCA more than once per week or more than four times per month, visit Membership Services to see how much more convenient and economical a YMCA membership can be.

Financial Assistance

YMCA of Windsor and Essex County believes that everyone should be able to enjoy a YMCA experience. Financial assistance is available for those who need it. Visit the Financial Assistance page, or ask a Member, Sales, and Reception team members for more information.

Canada-wide Access for Members

Spend time on the road? YMCA of Windsor and Essex County members can access other YMCAs across the country. When visiting another YMCA, please ensure that you have your YMCA of Windsor and Essex County membership card with you.
