About Financial Development

When you give to a charitable organization, you want to know that your money is being well spent.

YMCA of Windsor and Essex County is a values-driven organization that promotes the spiritual, mental, and physical, and social development of individuals that fosters a sense of responsibility within the community.

YMCA of Windsor and Essex County wants everyone to have the opportunity to take part in our programs and enjoy our facilties and services. Financial aid is available for those who need assistance. No child or youth is denied a YMCA experience due to financial circumstances.

Your donation impacts lives- it could teach a child to swim, give youth a chance to take part in a community service project, provide a young student with a safe place to go after school, or help a family in need become YMCA members.

There are many opportunities to donate with YMCA’s Financial Development programs, whether as an individual through our Strong Kids Campaign or planned giving or as a company through a major gift or as a sponsor for events.
